Channels - for analysing the traffic generated by specific sections of your site

Feature available for:

ShinyStat™ offers a comprehensive platform for analysing in real-time the traffic generated by portals and websites, as well as with reference to specific sections or web pages ( known as “channels”, in fact).

The term CHANNEL means a subset of an account intended to separately analyse the traffic generated by a specific section of the website.

By configuring one or more “Channels”, it is then possible to analyse the traffic generated exclusively by a specific section of the website and, in particular, by all those web pages whose address meets the requirements provided for the definition of the channel itself.

Anyone can configure a new “Channel”, without being a technician, in a simple way and with no need to make any changes to the html code. In order to configure a channel, it is sufficient to indicate in the configuration panel the requirements of the pages that belong to the section that needs to be separately analysed.

A new report will be made available for each channel, showing only the standard metrics concerning the pages of the website whose address meets the rules for the configured channel.

In particular, for each configured Channel, it is possible to display the following data:

    1. unique visitors
    2. visits
    3. page views
    4. average time per page
   5. average time per visit

Channels are ideal for portals and rich-content websites consisting of a large number of sections, as they allow to simplify the reading of the reports.

They also offer excellent business opportunities for those who need to present to customers, affiliates, sponsors or advertisers differentiated and specific data, allowing a proper quantification and valorisation of the space offered.
