A visit is the first time a visitor accesses a web site during a single session , independently from the number of page views.
A new access by the same visitor is tracked as a new visit after a 30 minute period (*). Example: assume a visitor accesses your site through the home page, then he/she browses through the company and contacts page and finally he comes back to the home page. ShinyStat will track one single visit and 4 page views.
In case that visitor should perform the same action after 30 minutes, ShinyStat will track only 4 page views.
The visit will be counted again after a 30 minute period of inactivity.
