Step 6 - How to read and understand advanced reports (ShinyStat™ Business)

3.7 VERSION - Total Conversions

Attention!
With regard to Conversion, we suggest to use the ShinyStat 4.0 release, considering that it offers many more useful details which the old 3.7 version does not provide.
Please proceed as follows
- do login
- click on "Configuration" on the menu on the left
- click on Monetary Conversions or on Non Monetary Conversions

However, those who wish to retrieve information about the conversions of the ShinyStat 3.7 version can look up at the following pages.
 ShinyStat Business

This report sums up all the conversions completed on your site, showing you the origin of the visitors who generated them: conversions by sites (by referrer), by campaigns, by search engines, by direct request or without referrer.

The first chart shows the daily average of the conversions and the sales calculated on the basis of the data tracked in the selected month.

Filters

- Conversion: it allows to display the data of all conversion points or just the data of a single conversion point.

- Select a period: it allows to filter the data in order to display only the data of a desired month.

Table

Each table row shows the kind of conversion, the number of conversions, the trend, the percentage on the total conversions in the list, the generated sales and the corresponding percentage on the total sales.

IMG:dettagli.gif By clicking on this icon you can view the report related to a specific conversion.

Conversions by Direct Request

It shows all the conversions generated by the visitors who didn't reach your site via a link on another web site, but, for example, by typing your site URL in the browser address toolbar.

Conversions without referrer

It shows all the conversions generated by the visitors whose requests reached the ShinyStat servers but contained an incorrect referrer or no referrer at all. This fault is due to a visitors' browser error and it blocks the correct retrieval of the visitor origin.

Sales

This column shows the total sales generated by each traffic source.
In case of values equal to zero:
  • no sales have been successfully completed
  • The PR= parameter within the HTML code in the conversion page is not correctly compiled. Please read Setting - How to set conversion points - Step 4

Total

For easier reading, the last row in the list shows the total listed values.
