The report named "Referrer Details" shows the referrer sites for each campaign. Its data are particularly useful, for istance, in case of a keyword advertising campaign, because you are shown the search terms actually typed by your visitors as well as any affiliated site or search engine.
On the contrary, in case of e-mail marketing campaigns, this report is not much of interest.
The first table shows the number of referrer sites, the average conversion time and the average conversion rate.
Filters
- Sort by: this feature allows to sort the data in the underneath table by the selected option.
- Conversion: it allows to display the data of all conversion points or just the data of a single conversion point.
- Search: you can quickly find the desired referrer by entering its name or part of it in the available field.
- Select a period: it allows to filter the data in order to display only the data of a desired month.
Table
Each table row shows the referrer URL, the number of clicks, the number of generated conversions, the conversion rate, and the total sales.
By clicking on the number of conversions of a specific referrer you have access to the detailed report.
No referrer
All the requests to the ShinyStat servers are reported as 'No referrer' when they contain an incorrect or absent 'referrer' heading.
Search Engines
In case of keyword advertising campaigns on search engines, the first column shows the search keyword as well as the engines or the sites affiliated to the main search engine.
Sales
This column shows the total sales generated by the corresponding referrer.
In case of values equal to zero:
- no sales have been successfully completed
- he PR= parameter within the HTML code in the conversion page is not correctly compiled. Please read Setting - How to set conversion points - Step 4
Total
For easier reading, the last row in the list shows the total listed values.
Attention!
This value is the sum of the values in all the pages and not only of the value in the current page.
