Campaign conversions allow you to identify the most efficient advertising campaign. You can monitor different types of campaigns such as: banners, keyword advertising, or e-mail marketing.
It is possible to activate an unlimited number of campaigns and for each of them you can set a start and an end date.
ShinyStat allows the user to set the 'Visit validity days' for each campaign. This data is very important: it allows you to establish how long the conversion can be associated to the campaign after the first campaign-lead visitor's access. This is very important in case of conversions linked to an online order. Generally, online purchases are not completed immediately by visitors, but after a few days of consideration.
If thanks to an e-mail marketing campaign the visitor reaches the web site because attracted by the offer, he is likely not to not give you his credit card details without consulting other offers, comparing prices and specifications of the required service. And this may take a few days of consideration.
Once the decision is taken, the visitor will come back to the site (probably not via the e-mailed link) and he will complete an order, i.e. a conversion. According to the value you entered in the 'Visit validity days' option, ShinyStat will be able to retrieve the conversion to its origin.
In addition to the number of conversions, ShinyStat offers you many more information in specific reports. For example:
- average conversion rate
- Average Conversion Time
- Sales Amount
- Period Details
- Referrer Sites.
This latter report is very useful for Keyword advertising campaigns. For these the key used in the search is identified together with the search engines or the web sites affiliated to the main engine.
