Please proceed as follows
- do login
- click on "Configuration" on the menu on the left
- click on Monetary Conversions or on Non Monetary Conversions

However, those who wish to retrieve information about the conversions of the ShinyStat 3.7 version can look up at the following pages.
 ShinyStat Business

For each ad campaign, you can specify the cost per click or the total cost and, in case of Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing campaigns, you can import data directly from the .CSV files.

By entering the cost, you can get the CPC and the CPA indicators; moreover, the cost represents one of the required conditions to calculate the campaign ROI. The other two conditions are:
- one of the conversions should be the successful completion of an online order;
- within the HTML code of the conversion point named 'order', the PR= parameter should be compiled correctly
By selecting the desired cost type, you will be shown the options for filling out the form.

Cost per click (Kelkoo, Trovaprezzi, etc...)

Most of the ad campaigns are based on a pay per click model, i.e. the campaign cost is determined by the requests to your site generated by an ad, independently from the number of times the ad is shown (impressions).

How to set the cost per click

To set the cost per click you need to fill in the 'cost per click' field. ShinyStat will automatically multiply the cost by the tracked clicks, so that the campaign ROI is constantly being updated. You can also choose the start validity date of the cost, i.e. from the date of change date (option 'from now on'), or a specific date, prior to the current date, you should enter in the proper field. This option allows to manage any cost variations during the campaign period.

Attention!
You cannot set a date in the future as start date for the variation of the cost per click.

How to set the cost per click for past periods

This option allows to modify the cost per click during a specific period in the past. For example, if during the last month the cost per click has been temporarily modified, you can update the reports by filling in the 'cost', the 'start date' and 'end date' fields related to the desired period of time.
Attention!
You cannot set a date in the future, but only dates prior to the current date. Import data from .CSV files (Google ADWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing) Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing campaigns are pay per click campaigns. They differ from other campaigns since the cost per click is not fixed price based, but it results from an online auction and it is determined daily by the advertisers bids. In that case, if you specify a total cost or a fixed cost per click, you would get an approximative ROI. To solve this problem, ShinyStat lets you import data directly from .CSV files downloaded from Google and Yahoo!. To import data, click the 'Browse' button and select the .csv file you downloaded from Google or Yahoo!.
