This report shows the trend of the Bounce Visits and the Bounce Rate to your site during the selected time interval.
Summary
The first table shows the following data:
- Bounces: the number of visits by browsers that entered the site, viewed a single page and exited the website
- Bounces Trend: the Bounces trend expressed as a percent. In particular, it shows the percentage variation of the bounces during the second half of a given period compared with the total of the first half of the period itself.
- Bounces Daily Average: it shows the Bounces daily average
- Bounce Rate: the percent of visits consisting of a single page view out of the total visits
- Bounce Rate Trend: expressed as a percent, it shows the trend of the Bounce Rate for a given period. In particular, it indicates the percentage variation of the Bounce rate during the second half of the selected period compared with the first half of the period itself.
Filters
- Interval: these options allow you to retrieve the data of a particular period of time.
- Compare with: thanks to this feature you can compare up to three values selected among the available options. The "Compare with" feature is available for all the intervals only if you have the ShinyStat Business version; in the other versions it is available only for the 'Latest 31 days' interval.
Chart
On its horizontal axis, the chart shows the days or the months of the represented period and, on the vertical axis, the Bounce Visits and the Bounce Rate.
For intervals no longer than 6 months you will be shown a dotted line representing the 7-day mobile average.
For the other intervals, you will be shown only the mobile average.
Table
The table shows the data retrieved according to the selected time interval.
For intervals longer than the 'latest 3 months' data are represented on a monthly basis and not per day. Click on the name of a month to view the data per day.
In every line of the table you will find the following data for the selected time period:
- Bounces: the number of visits by browsers that entered the site, viewed a single page and exited the website
- Bounce Rate: the percent of Bounce Visits out of the Total visits, that is the percent of visits consisting of a single page view out of the total visits.
