3.7 VERSION - Conversions by referrers

With regard to Conversion, we suggest to use the ShinyStat 4.0 release, considering that it offers many more useful details which the old 3.7 version does not provide.
Please proceed as follows
- do login
- click on "Configuration" on the menu on the left
- click on Monetary Conversions or on Non Monetary Conversions

The conversions by referrer allow you to identify which referrer brings the visitors with the highest number of conversions.

The information generated by this analysis will surprise you. Very often the referrer bringing the highest number of visits is taken into big consideration while the collaboration with other web sites is not. But it could happen that a certain referrer brings the highest number of visitors onto your web site, but generates only a few conversions.
By analysing the web page where your link is located, you could find out that the visitors click on the page by mistake, maybe because the link is located in a very visible spot or because it may lead the visitor to think about a link to an unrelated topic.
On the other hand, a listed referrer, you never thought of, could generate a very high conversion rate bringing visitors that are truly interested in the topic and who are likely to generate a high number of conversions.

This information will allow you to analyse the quality of the referrers and the quality of the visitors they bring.

Because not always conversions are completed the first time the visitor enters the web site, ShinyStat allows you to retrieve the referrer of conversions to the origin up to 10 days since the first visit. This period of time is called 'Visit validity time'.
